MG Motor India partners with Charge Zone to strengthen EV infrastructure

Hyderabad: MG Motor India, a British automotive brand with a century-long heritage, has just unveiled a collaboration with CHARGE ZONE, a prominent player in EV charging infrastructure. This partnership signifies MG's ongoing efforts to fortify India's EV landscape by addressing the critical need for charging networks to support the expanding electric vehicle fleet.

Over the next few months, MG and CHARGE ZONE will jointly set up charging stations across strategic locations, spanning highways, cities, and MG dealerships. Beyond that, both entities will craft exclusive offers for MG customers while ensuring these stations remain accessible to all EV owners. The integration into the CHARGE ZONE app will streamline user access, payment, and location of these charging services.

Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director of MG Motor India, highlighted the collaboration's significance in providing seamless electric vehicle experiences, reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainable mobility. Similarly, Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of CHARGE ZONE, emphasized the joint vision to build a robust nationwide charging infrastructure, framing it as an investment in sustainable transportation's future.

MG Motor India's commitment to an EV ecosystem is evident through its 6-way charging solution, significantly enhancing convenient charging options for its customers. Presently, the brand has established a network of over 12,000 chargers, further bolstering their stance in the electric mobility landscape.
